Lindsay Park is a contemporary jewellery artist based in Wellington, New Zealand. Her work explores diverse themes of New Zealand nature,political themes and popular culture in a way that is uniquely hers. While attending polytech Lindsay was awarded The Block Memorial Award for Jewellery Design and the Merit Award for the Friends of the Dowse Design Award. The Red Butterfly Necklace, from her Going, going… gone series, received the People’s Choice Contemporary Jewellery Award at the National Jewellery Showcase 2007. This work follows from her successful previous series based on exploring the caravan as part of our cultural heritage.
